Wellington J. Denahan
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
J. Denahan is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
of Annaly. Ms. Denahan is a founder of Annaly. Prior
to co-founding Annaly, Ms. Denahan worked on the fixed
income desk at Wertheim Schroder and Co., Inc. She has
a degree in Finance from Florida State University. She
currently chairs the MREIT council at NAREIT.
Kevin G. Keyes
Keyes is President of Annaly and is also a member of
the Board of Directors. Prior to being named to his
current role, Mr. Keyes served as Chief Strategy Officer
and Head of Capital Markets at Annaly. Mr. Keyes has
over 20 years of Capital Markets and Investment Banking
experience. He joined Annaly in 2009 from Bank of America
Merrill Lynch where he served in various senior management
and business origination roles since 2005. Prior to
that, Mr. Keyes also worked at Credit Suisse First Boston
from 1997 until 2005 in various capital markets roles
and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter from 1990 until 1997
in various investment banking positions. Mr. Keyes has
a BA in Economics and a BS in Business Administration
(ALPA Program) from the University of Notre Dame.
R. Nicholas Singh
Chief Legal Officer
Nicholas Singh is Chief Legal Officer of Annaly. Prior
to joining the company in February 2005, Mr. Singh was
a partner at the law firm McKee Nelson, LLP. Mr. Singh
received a JD from American University, a MA from Columbia
University and a BA from Carleton College.
Glenn A. Votek
Chief Financial Officer
Votek has over 20 years of financial and operational
experience with particular expertise in risk management,
capital raising, liability management and regulatory
oversight. Mr. Votek joined the Company in May 2013
from CIT Group where he was an Executive Vice President
and Treasurer since 1999 and President of Consumer Finance
since 2012. At CIT, Mr. Votek was responsible for all
functional areas of CIT’s treasury group, including
capital markets, securitization, asset/liability management,
hedging, international treasury, cash management, and
banking and rating agency relations. He was also actively
involved in the investor marketing activities at CIT.
Included among his committee memberships were: Asset
Liability Management Committee, Financial Disclosure
Committee, Pension Investments Committee and the Employee
Benefit Plans Committee. He also previously served as
Chairman of the Board of CIT Bank.
Mr. Votek joined CIT in November 1999 following its
acquisition of Newcourt Credit Group, at which time
he was appointed Treasurer. Prior to the acquisition,
he was the Treasurer of Newcourt Credit Corp. and AT&T
Capital Corporation. Mr. Votek has also held various
treasury and financial management positions within AT&T
Corporation, Amerada Hess Corporation and Westinghouse
Credit Corporation. Mr. Votek earned a Masters of Business
Administration in Finance from Rutgers University, where
he remains active as an executive mentor for MBA students,
and attended the Executive Education Program of the
Colgate W. Darden Graduate School of Business Administration
at the University of Virginia.
